NGC 7635, the Bubble Nebula

What a streak of weather! The telescope has been set up in my front yard for 12 straight days, but I finally had to bring it in this evening. It was nice to polar align on August 26th, and use that same alignment until September 6th.  I still haven’t processed everything.

Here’s more H-alpha. This time, the Bubble Nebula in Cassiopeia. The full frame shows the nearby open cluster as well. This is only 3h 20m of integration, which is pretty minimal for this target.

50x4min subs (zillions of flats and darks)
Self-modded Canon XSi
EON 120 refractor on CGEM
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Photoshop CS3
